FluxBus Trip to Sullivan Hall, “Dome” single release, Tour Kickoff @ House of Blues AC

Hell Yeah! As we journey into 2012 the countdown for the FLUX-BUS trip has begun. Flux has chartered a luxury bus to transport at least 60 people to NYC  on Feb 4th 2012 for their show at Sullivan Hall with The Lawn Boys (a phish tribute group). Flux will take the stage around 930pm.  The bus will be leaving around 3pm and will return home late night. Everyone who has their tickets please be prepared for a wild ride and don`t  hesitate to email us for more details here: fluxcapacitormail@gmail.com

Flux will be kicking off their spring tour on april 7 at the House of Blues in Atlantic City with Blue October with more dates to follow. You can find tickets on Ticketmaster by clicking the BUY TICKETS link in the Tour section of the site. It would be amazing to see everyone before we head out for spring tour!

Also very pleased to announce upcoming shows just added to the schedule: Flux will be supporting Conspirator @ the Note in West Chester on March 8,Flux Thursday Residency @ REVERB on  Feb 16, Feb 23, and March 1st. All Ages Shows, MARCHTIVAL at Dante`s in Frostburg Md. Flux will be playing with Former Champions on March 16, Then Get Ready for ST. Phatty`s Day Blowout in Pottsville Pa with Flux, Dakini and the Rumpke Mountain Boys, hotel accommodations are available.

The “DOME” single has been mixed and mastered and is in beginning preparations for a single release. “DOME” is a 14 minute  fantastic journey that was an intense process that provided the band with an opportunity to truly get creative in the studio and go places they`ve never gone before as a three-piece, the album was also mixed and mastered by bass virtuoso Bennie Simms. We hope times are moving neither too fast or too slow for y`all but just right like some sort of wintry porridge, finding the flow is the goal and recently the flow has sent Flux adrift and were enjoying the ride. Last week the flow has recently seen us back to the Pickering Creek Inn which proved to be a fun-filled night with musical segways galore, crowned with our live debut of Hendrix`s “Little Wing” closing out the final set. We would like to thank Howard Stern Comrade “the Lolo Show” for playing our tune “Can`t Wait” on thanksgiving eve during  her broadcast, check her out! Also mega shouts out to the Black Oak for the sold-out Flux show in Oneonta NY…. Thanks to Gina, Lights on the Horizon, and the Dutchmasters for kicking off the festivites and showing us an awesome time. Big thanks to Jibberjazz for making Boogie in the Bungalow 3 the most enjoyable time we had this month so far everyone threw down hard.

Fluxtober and Beyond!

Wow! October has been an amazing month so far for the Flux. We have been out and about to many new spots playing our  music and been meeting lots of great people every step of the way! We want to thank everyone who came out for our CD release show, we hope the new disc is treating everyone well. We have been having a  blast at all the new spots and fests the tour has found the band. The Trail`s End Harvest Fest, as well as new clubs like Triumph New Hope, The Grape Room, and The Hard Rock Cafe have all proved to be unforgettable stops along the way! Well the month is just gonna keep getting Hotter! Tonight well be jamming @ the 1st Halloween Oktoberfest @ Mountain Springs Arena then next friday the 28th well be raging the MMW aftershow @ JD McGillicuddy`s, right around the corner from the E-Factory. All building up to The FLUX CAPACITOR HALLOWEEN SPECIAL @ the Jackson Democratic Society on the 29th. This is a show you will not want to miss, the band has been cooking up some thrilling surprises in their laboratory all month long as well as adding special musical guests the Mixxtape to get the night started right! We have also partnered with Anomalous Audio for all of our sound needs to make sure every show sounds top notch, make sure you give `em a like on facebook!
